People should read only those books that are about real events, real people, and established facts. Use specific reasons and details to support your opinion.
I really disagree with this sentence, I  think art is the only place where you can transgenss all the limits, so doesn't matter if the things you are portraying are real or not, you can express what you're thinking, so in the especific case of literature, limits this importance only to the completely real things and events would limit it in the freedom art has. In literature much of the things you can read are metaphors of real events, real persons, real situations and forms of seeing life and it different aspects. Reading this ''unreal'' things estimulates the mind, makes you think about the meaning of the things you're reading and you can make your own interpretations about this things. In ocasions you may not realize that you're understanding situations of the real life reading not real life situations. Is important to estimulates our minds with art and creations, we must give birth to our imaginations. Do not forget to inform yourself about real events with real people, but make a good thing for your mind and your imagination and read ''unreal'' things.
Read books that are about real events, real people and established facts are good and contribute in our formation of opinion, but ''unreal'' thing estimulates our minds,our imagination, and our souls.

The bed maker

If I would invent something new I would develop a bed maker, I think is a very necessary invent because make the bed is very boring, makes you waste time in a thing that doesn't help you in anything. Althought make the bed is not very important in practice, sometimes you feel like you needed it to order your place, I hate make the bed but i must recognize that my sleeping room looks much more neat with the bed made, sometimes the mess of my sleeping room makes me feel bad, it collapsed me and doesn't help me with the things that I have to do and my mood, so in conclusion a bed made is a good thing, but make the bed is a bad thing, and to solve this contradiction i would develop the great bed maker, to have a tidy sleeping room without wasting time and without making the very boring effort of move the sheets.This invent would make me very happy because I usually don't make my bed because I'm very lazy, and I suffer  a lot when I see the chaos of my sleeping room, with this I can continue being lazy and I can be calm with my room tidy.

My land

If I receive a land to use as my wish, I would use this land as my big and perfect house with all the things that I like and that are important for me. I would search things that I like to make the house looks beautiful, with the things and the colors that I like, I would had a sleeping room with a big bed because I love to sleep for hours and hours. And I would have another room with the things I like most, a very big library with a lot of books that I like, a very big radio with a good sound and a lot of Cds of my favorites groups and singers, and a SmartTV to see my favorite series on Netflix. Other thing important in my land is a big yard, in first place to save my bike, and in second place to have a lot of dogs, I love dogs and i wanna adopt dogs without a home, so my yard is gonna be a kind of dog shelter where they can play, eat, sleep and be happy. And in last place I want a good place to eat and drink, a big kitchen and a dinning room with a big bar with a lot of beer because I love it.

A place that I have been

A place that I have been and I really liked is Valladolid in Mexico, it is a little known place, 
to tell the truth I had never heard of him until I went, I went in summer 2016, I was in México for vacations and I took a tour to Chichen Itzá with my parents, in one of the stops we stayed in Valladolid, it was a very beautiful little city, with a special architecture, a little ancient and very colorful, I really fell in love with the constructions, even the traffic lights were differents. The square was very beautiful, with a special aesthetic in their seats and sinks, that evoked something colonial. It has a very beautiful and big church with a playground where children were playing and that makes you feel in a very familiar place. Doesn't make sence for me that Valladolid is not well known because is a really beautiful place and I really like to go back to see this beautiful and special architectura. So, If you are going to Mexico I really recomended to go to Valladolid, it is in the region of Yucatán, a very important place for the Maya culture, so you can learn a little bit more about the Maya culture and their customs in a quiet, familiar and beautiful place that is not very expensive.

Someone famous

I’m gonna talk about someone famous, and this person is Morrissey, I chose

Morrissey because is my favorite singer, I admire him because of his music and

his lyrics, his music sounds so good and has a special thing, you always

know when you’re listening to The Smiths or Morrissey, because his style is

unique and his voice is so special and different, another thing about his music

are his lyrics, he definitely wrote from his feelings and that makes you feel a special 

connection with him and his subconscious,

you can feel very represented with his constant feelings of sadness and loneliness.
But Morrissey had another good things apart from his music, is his love for

the animal protection, And in his concerts he has demanded things like there is
animals, he’s a vegan since he was eleven years old, he has strong thoughts about

nothing of animal origin, even in in the things that the public can buy. 

Always when they can, he talk about this topic, even he has a song about

it, the song is ‘’Meat is murder’’, and when he sings it in his concerts he
shows a lot of pictures of the animal abuse, in different forms, but more

especially the one provoked by the meat industry.

His music and his awareness about animals make him a great and admirable famous person. 

Seasons

In the year we have four different seasons, these seasons are: Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. In our country Summer starts on December 21^st  and ends on March 20^th, Autumn starts on March 21^st and ends on 20^th June, Winter starts on June 21^st and ends on September 20^th , and Spring starts on September 21^st and ends on December 20^th. In my opinion every season have good and bad things. Beginning with summer, I think is good to have sunny days, they make me happy, but the temperature sometimes is excessive, and it takes away the desire of do something, just thinking about go out makes me tired, and I wanna stay in bed with a fan and drinking water, another good point of summer is we have vacations at this time. Autumn is a good season because is not so hot and not so cold, some days are warmer and some days are colder, a bad thing is that sometimes you don’t know what clothes to wear, because some days are cold in the morning and warmer after and others warm in the morning and cold later, is a special seasons because you can see fall leaves with that special color typical of autumn. Winter is the coldest season, sometimes I like it and sometimes I just wanna stay in bed with a lot of clothes drinking, tea, soup or coffee, I must admit that winter for me is a bas season to go to classes, I never wanna get out of my bed so I miss classes a lot, winter too have these good point about the vacations, although they are shorter is always good to have vacations. And finally spring, spring has beautiful days, I love it sunny days that are not so hot, In my opinion spring has the best temperatures, and you can see grow up the flowers and the trees, a bad point are the allergies, they make me hate everything, but despite this is a very good season. There are things I like in every season but I think my favorite one is spring.

My worst and best holiday expierence

I love holidays, but I have had bads and goods holidays experiences. My worst holiday experience was in summer 2014, this summer I didn’t have any plan and I didn’t have money, so I only went to Papudo with my parents for a few days,  when we arrived, we didn’t have a place to sleep, we searched a lot of time and we didn’t find anything, after a couple of hours we find a house, but it was not so good and I dind’t liked it, in my opinion the city was very boring, there were few places to go, I didn’t find cultural activities or night activities, the only place to go was the beach and I definitely don’t like the beach, I hate using swimwear , I hate the sand and I think the sea is very cold. Finally we came back to Santiago in three days. And my best holiday experience was this year,  I saved money all last year and I went for a month to Bolivia and Perú with a friend, I traveled on bus a lot but it was great because I was able to know many places and different cities, I walked a lot, knew a lot of cultural places, that is my favorite activity and eat and drink a lot. I fell in love with Bolivia and her natural places, like Titicaca lake and Isla del sol, and the native people, and I loved Perú and its gastronomy, all the food was great, even the cheap food, and the fast food like Mcdonald’s, it had very delicious and hot sauces. Another thing that I  liked a lot was the patrimonial architecture, it was a lot of colonial places, churches and monasteries very old and very well manteined. In conclusion I knew many different things, I ate a lot, I stayed out of Santiago for a lot of days and this is very great because you can forget about everything of your regular life, and I had a great travel partner, we had great times. I hope have another holidays like these this holidays and not like my holidays of summer 2014.

Different cultures

A topic that changes according the culture is the women’s role, that is, the thing that are assigned for the women for the only reason of being a woman. Two different visions are the vision of the Arabic culture and the vision of the Latin culture. The first one has a strong influence of the Islamic religion, and the second one has had an important influence of the Catholic religion, although this is now in decline in some Latin-American countries. One point in common of the two religions is the domination that these exercise on the women, but the level of domination is different.

The first and evident difference is the vestment, although in the Latin culture exist certain rules, these are more ‘’moral’’ with a social punishment, in the Arabic culture the women can receive   physical punishment for violating dress rules, the latin woman is a slave of the stereotype, but her punishment is her own mental punishment and the social punishment.

Another difference is in the intensity of the ‘’private role’’, while the latin women is still considered like a ‘’housewife’’, with a welfare rol, putting always first the mother and the wife rol, in some countries more than in others, the importance of the female figure in the work force is growing, the occidental and more specifically the latin woman has an opportunity to stay in the public space, in the ‘’decisions space’’,   the space generally reserved for men, but always conserving her ‘’private rol’’. In the Arabic culture this point is different because the women has more restrictions to enter in the public role, the vision of the women like a ‘’assistant’’ is stronger, the public role is always a men role, and women has to do their privates works.

Other difference is the sexual freedom, although in Latin-American still exists moral thoughts related to Catholic religion about the women sexual   freedom, they can have  a greater sovereignty of their bodies, and the punishment, just like in the vestment thing is social. In the Arabic culture the women is property of the men, they can receive severe punishments only for exercise sovereignty of their bodies, they have to conserve their virginity until the marriage or they can have very big problems, in the latin culture this point is only social.

In my opinion the religions exercise a very bad domination on the women and are the responsible of the patriarchal system of domination and the lower positioning of the woman, and these things generate all kinds of violence against women. While the Islam and the Catholicism exercise different levels of domination, both are a domination. 

Second semester reflections

This semester has been a little bit hard, I’m very tired now, have clases when nobody has is so sad, it was more difficult to me to study and i have been thinking on my vacations and sleep all the time, I just want vacations!!!!.

I didn’t do something really interesting, just go one time to Valparaíso, other to San Antonio and party a lot, I had  a very good moment in new year, a great party with a lot of alcohol and dance, but when I woke up I remembered that I had to study and I wanted to die and cry a lot.

In conclusion this semester was very normal, I didn’t do a lot of great things, I suffered a lot seeing the other people having vacations, longing mine and thinking that I’m going to have very short vacations and soon is going to be march. A lot of  sadness this semester.

Now I’m waiting for my summer travels, I hope have good moments and forget this very sad semester, and don’t have other like this.

Today: 2016 resolutions and predictions

This year I don’t know if something in my life is going to change, I think everything is going to be like now, the same university, the same house and the same family and friends, I hope so, but I’m going to change a few things:

First I’m going to be more studious and worried about the university, the last year I was very very lazy, I didn’t study so much, and I did the things late. Now I’m going to be a good student.

Other thing that I’m going to do is spend less money, I’m very compulsively, and I buy a lot of things, clothes, cds, books, and food, so I never have money and I don’t save so much money to other things like vacations or give presents in Christmas . But this year I’m going to save money to have fantastic vacations in a place that I want to know and I’m going to give presents to all the people that I love.

The third thing is do more exercises, I’m very lazy and I always sleep, and I never do exercises but I think this is the time to do sports because my body needs it, also I need to have a better feeding, I have to eat more vegetables and fruits and less fast food, because I’m very fanatic of fast food.

This year I want to learn new things that I like, to ride my bike a lot and go to different places that I don’t know and sleep less.
